Fat is also good for the body, as well as cholesterol, which has been frightening people for a long time. In this article, we'll figure out what is good for human fat.

Fat benefits

A small amount of fat reserves is good for the body and brings only benefits. Often doctors say that the lack of weight creates problems in a person’s life. Each person has his own rate of fat, which depends on his weight and height, as well as gender. The fat reserve can also protect the muscles and assist the human body in maintaining normal body temperature.

Virtually all fats that a person consumes are split into fatty acids and glycerin. The first are essential for the normal functioning of all organs and systems of the human body. There are three fatty acids that cannot be synthesized independently by the body, they are also called essential:

  • Linolenic;
  • Linoleic;
  • Arachidonic.

Their need to be present in the human body is due to the factthat these acids not only restore the structure of damaged cells and support the health of intestinal microflora, but also participate in the production of certain hormones.

The main source of essential fatty acids are:

  • fatty fish (trout, salmon, tuna);
  • nuts (cashews, walnuts, cedar);
  • sunflower seeds (flax, sunflower seeds, sesame);
  • oils (linseed, sesame, sunflower, olive, pumpkin):
  • butter;
  • egg yolk;
  • cream;
  • seafood (shrimp, mussels);
  • avocado.

It should be noted that the oils, popular in the food industry - palm and coconut - do not contain essential fatty acids, but are often used to reduce the cost of production.

What is dangerous fat

If an insufficient amount of fat enters the body, it begins to form acids from sugars. This fat is very dense, quickly accumulates and creates excess weight. In most cases, excess weight is formed due to fluid retention. Good fats, on the contrary, resist the delay.

When a person refuses food rich in healthy fats, a situation arises when the gallbladder starts to work inefficiently and releases little bile, which leads to the formation of stones.

It is often not advised to feed the body with hydrogenated fats - artificially created substances. They are part of:

  • processed cheese;
  • spread oils;
  • margarine;
  • chocolate;
  • mayonnaise and sauces based on it;
  • peanut butter and so on

There are two reasons for this:

  • This fat is not absorbed, and the body does not receive the necessary fats;
  • The subsequent reaction of the body - it may be an allergy, and blockage of the bile ducts, blood vessels.

This does not mean that maintaining your health is worth a lot of money. It’s not necessary to cook steamed trout steaks daily. You can simply fill salads with unrefined vegetable oil.
