The strangest airline in the world that & quot; hides & quot; from their passengers

This is the strangest airline in the world: they are never advertised, they do not have a website, they don’t buy tickets online or buy from most travel agents, they aren’t on the board of airport arrivals - but the flights are full. I will say more - their planes do not have the usual livery (coloring) and any inscriptions denoting the ownership of the airline, except perhaps the mandatory code of the liner, its number. This airline has only 2 aircraft and they fly exclusively from one country to the next and nowhere else. These airplanes are never driven to the airport terminal, but unloaded at the far end of the airport, away from prying eyes. You might think that we are talking about some kind of secret CIA sides carrying prisoners to Guantanamo prison, isn’t it?

And it was like this: in 1982, a peace treaty between Egypt and Israel came into force, part of which was the immediate establishment of air links between Cairo and Tel Aviv. The Israelis immediately began regular El Al flights to this destination and actively advertised it. The Egyptians, however, were wary of this item of the peace treaty, fearing that if the national airline Egypt Air would fly openly to Tel Aviv, this could cause outrage and even a boycott of most other Arab countries. Therefore, in the same 1982, a special airline was created for Israeli flights, Air Sinai, which flew on the route until 2002, when it ceased to exist. The flights were not canceled, but now Egypt Air has begun to fly openly to Tel Aviv, though on airplanes without firm logos and symbols.

Aircraft Air Sinai, flying from 1982 to 2002 between Egypt and Israel.
Until 2011, the Egyptians had a competitor, the Israeli airline El Al, flying between Cairo and Tel Aviv daily, the tickets were not cheap, from $ 300 round-trip for 45 minutes flight. But immediately after the revolution on Tahrir, the Israelis considered flying to Egypt dangerous and canceled them, and they still do not fly, although it is 2017 in the yard. Now only Egypt Air with unmarked marks flies, breaking such prices that will make you dizzy - from 600 dollars in both directions! For this amount, you can safely fly to Japan, let alone the United States, or Thailand. But the flights are full to the eyeball, for there is simply no other alternative, and not everyone is able to travel by land the whole day with a lot of transfers and borders.
Moreover, on the Egypt Air website, tickets to Tel Aviv are still not for sale, although this is their board. Also, departures and arrivals of flights are not reflected in the placards of the Cairo airport, allegedly for security reasons.
